Hazel Burns Hospice offers workshops to our volunteers as well as the community about the Hospice’s services and educational opportunities.

  Education for the volunteer:
Education for the volunteer includes:
• Grief Companioning
• HAO Home Visiting Volunteer Training

Hazel Burns Hospice volunteers are trained for 30 hours in Palliative issues and attend educational seminars.

• Ethical Issues in Hospice Care
• Responsibilities of the Volunteer
• Care for the Volunteer Caregiver

  Lending Library:
Hazel Burns Hospice has information, books, and compact disks on Hospice, palliative issues, grief, terminal issues, legal issues, care giving, self care, and inspirational material.
